उन्नति परियोजना: सतत विकास के लिए महिला संचालित स्व-सहायता समूहों (एसएचजी) को बढ़ावा देना, उनके सामाजिक-आर्थिक विकास और सशक्तिकरण हेतु
महिलाएं जब सशक्त होती हैं तो पूरे समाज को प्रगति की दिशा में ले जाती हैं। इसी विश्वास के साथ ‘उन्नति परियोजना’ की शुरुआत की गई जिससे महिलाओं को स्व-सहायता समूह (एसएचजी) के माध्यम से एकजुट कर उनके आत्म-विश्वास, नेतृत्व और उद्यमिता को बढ़ावा दिया जा सके। वर्ष 2025 में हमने 535 एसएचजी के माध्यम से 5,800 महिलाओं को जोड़ा। नियमित संवाद, बैंकिंग सहयोग और सरकारी योजनाओं से जुड़ाव के ज़रिए हम इन महिलाओं को मजबूत बना रहे हैं और उनके लिए नए अवसरों के द्वार खोल रहे हैं। आज ये महिलाएं आत्मनिर्भरता की दिशा में सशक्त कदम बढ़ा रही हैं और अपने समुदाय में बदलाव की प्रेरणा बन रही हैं।
Kosakari: Weaving the Stories of Empowerment Through Craft
Kosakari is BALCO’s women empowerment initiative that blends traditional handloom craftsmanship with sustainable livelihood creation. Rooted in the rich heritage of Kosa silk weaving, the initiative works closely with women artisans and community-led groups, enabling them to build financial independence while preserving time-honoured skills. Through access to resources, continuous skill development, and a structured platform, Kosakari is creating opportunities that go beyond income—fostering confidence, dignity, and long-term resilience.
Every Kosakari saree is handwoven on traditional looms, where each thread is placed with precision and care. The process is deliberate and time-intensive, often taking weeks to complete a single piece. From preparing the loom to crafting intricate motifs, borders, and pallus, the saree evolves gradually—guided by the artisan’s expertise. Created only after an order is placed, this made-to-order approach ensures minimal waste and high quality.
More than a product, each Kosakari saree carries a story, of skill passed through generations, of women shaping their own futures, and of a conscious choice to value craft over mass production. Through this initiative, BALCO continues its commitment to inclusive growth, supporting women artisans as active contributors to their communities and custodians of cultural heritage.

राज्य खनन मंत्री के सम्मेलन में महिलाओं द्वारा संचालित उद्यमों को प्रदर्शित किया गया।
वेदांता सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव, दिल्ली हाट
वेदांता सांस्कृतिक महोत्सव में कला और उद्यमिता को उत्सवपूर्वक प्रस्तुत किया गया।
महिलाओं के सशक्तिकरण का उत्सव
अंतर्राष्ट्रीय महिला दिवस के अवसर पर हम “उन्नति उत्सव” का आयोजन करते हैं, जिसमें समुदाय की महिलाएं, किशोरियां और कर्मचारी शामिल होते हैं। इस कार्यक्रम में उद्यमिता कौशल प्रदर्शित करने वाले स्टॉल्स लगाए जाते हैं, जहाँ महिलाएं विभिन्न सूक्ष्म और सूक्ष्म उद्यमों से जुड़ी होती हैं। उत्सव के दौरान हम उन समुदाय के सदस्यों को सम्मानित करते हैं जिन्होंने उद्यमिता, सामाजिक परिवर्तन और सामुदायिक नेतृत्व में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया है, जिससे सभी को लाभ मिल रहा है।
इस पहल को वर्तमान में जीपीआर स्ट्रैटेजीज़ एंड सॉल्यूशंस के सहयोग से संचालित किया जा रहा है।
