The two-day photography workshop, known as ‘Malhar,’ was hosted in the BALCO township and revolved around the theme of ‘Monsoon’. The exhibition featured compelling images capturing the essence of rain, landscapes, climate, and the natural beauty of BALCO’s surroundings, all expertly portrayed by the company’s employees. Open to visitors, including friends and families of BALCO employees, the exhibition offered a delightful visual experience to its audiences.
To create a family-friendly ambience, the event incorporated dedicated ‘Kids Corners’ and ‘Selfie Corners’, adding an extra layer of fun and interactive elements to the exhibition. It curated a captivating showcase featuring a range of cameras, from vintage classics to cutting-edge models, serving as a highlight for visitors. This unique exhibit allowed viewers to trace the evolution of photography equipment over time and learn more about the rich history of photography. Further, an AI corner too was set up, highlighting the critical importance of ‘Water’ as a finite resource in the form of AI-generated photographs, embracing technology for bringing transformation.
In the spirit of celebrating photography, the event featured a series of informative workshops led by seasoned photographers, providing attendees with valuable insights and knowledge. These workshops were followed by a Photo Walk, during which photography enthusiasts captured the captivating essence of BALCO under the expert guidance of workshop trainers, who shared technical aspects of photography.
Expressing his thoughts on the event, Mr. Rajesh Kumar, CEO and Director of BALCO, said, “I appreciate the thoughtful organization of the Photography exhibition.
