Hon’ble Deputy CM Shri Arun Sao Ji Inaugurates BALCO Medical Centre’s State-of-the-Art Daycare Facility for Cancer Care

Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India – December 21, 2023: BALCO Medical Centre (BMC) introduced state-of-the-art Daycare facility for cancer care with the inauguration of its new Cancer Daycare Centre in Raipur city. The facility was inaugurated by the Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh State, Shri Arun Sao ji, on December 21, 2023. This marks a significant milestone in bringing advanced cancer care to the heart of Raipur, located near Colors Mall in Pachpedi Naka.

The centre, equipped with eight chemotherapy units and state-of-the-art facilities, is committed to providing individualized patient care. Services offered include chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, sample, and report collection, OPD consultations, and associated Cancer Support Services.

Amenities at BMC Cancer Daycare meet international standards and will cater to patients not only in Raipur but across Chhattisgarh and neighboring states. Experienced and renowned oncologists will provide OPD consultations from 9 AM to 5 PM six days a week. The centre also has an in-house cafe, which will cater to meals for patients and their caretakers while they undergo treatment.

As Central India’s largest and most advanced cancer institute, BALCO Medical Centre in Naya Raipur will serve as the main hub, providing 24-hour comprehensive cancer care services. Skilled team of oncologists and state-of-the-art machines will facilitate advanced surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, PET scan, SPECT scan, HDT, LDT therapy, bone marrow transplant, ICU facilities, micro-incision surgeries, pain, and palliative care, and 24/7 lab services, blood bank, pharmacy, call centre, and emergency services.

Shri Arun Sao Ji, Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh State, and Chief Guest of the ceremony congratulated the team on the successful inauguration of the centre. Mrs. Jyoti Agarwal, Chairperson of BALCO Medical Centre, emphasized the centre’s dedication to advancing healthcare in the region. She stated, “The placement of our Daycare Centre in the city center is a deliberate effort to enhance accessibility for our patients. By bringing cancer healthcare closer to homes, we aim to simplify the cancer treatment process, allowing individuals to prioritize their well-being without challenges.
