At BALCO, we are proud to be the first company in Chhattisgarh to onboard transgender individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community into our workforce.
Our policies for transgender employees include support for higher education, a gender reaffirmation policy that offers a monetary allowance for reaffirmation surgeries, along with a month-long paid leave for recovery post-surgery, and regular sensitization workshops at the plant to foster a supportive work environment.
Through these efforts, we aim to ensure a workplace where every individual, regardless of their gender identity, feels valued and empowered.
