The right to quality education is at the heart of our education programme. We are committed to providing quality education to children and improving their learning outcomes. By quality education, we mean that we focus on learning outcomes of children. Keeping this in mind Project Connect initiated, it aims to enhance the learning environment in nearby government schools by fostering a supportive environment that improves student grades, offers career counselling, and encourages employee volunteering.
In FY’23 we supported 2500 students from grades 9th to 12th through Regular classes in 6 Government Schools and Remedial classes at 3 Resource centers in SEMA (Science, English, Maths & Accountancy) subjects.
To promote practical teaching-learning, problem- solving skills, critical & innovative thinking we organized activities like Science Exhibition, Summer Camp for development of their extra-curricular skills and Winter camps to strengthen their preparation for board exams.
Career Counselling plays a pivotal role in leading young, aspirational minds to a brighter future. We made sincere efforts through Career Counselling sessions, keeping special focus on 10th & 12th grades at intervention schools to guide them towards making informed academic and career-oriented decisions. Additionally, Capacity building of government teachers on teaching pedagogy and practical based models was organized to create a more favorable environment for learning.
Community Connect drives were held with parents, teachers, and PRI members to create awareness on continuing education for dropouts. As a result, 40 eligible dropout children were identified and through counselling of parents, 18 eligible dropouts were re-enrolled in schools.
The project is currently being run in partnership with Sarthak Jan Vikas Sansthan (SJVS).
